Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) was founded in 1896, and it is one of the oldest and most reputable higher education institutions in China. Regarded as “The Oriental MIT”, it is recognised as one of the top four universities in China. SJTU Overseas Education College focuses on executive education, collaborating with world renowned universities and institutions such as ourselves.
Practical impact
The Global CEO Programme provides first class business education to business leaders in China to help them face key macro-economic challenges and prepare them to invest globally. The participants, around 50 per programme, are CEOs and successful entrepreneurs from influential Chinese private businesses, many with annual revenue exceeding USD$5 billion.
Design and delivery
Over the past three years we have designed and delivered a series of bespoke leadership programmes for SJTU delegates, focusing on science and technology, with an emphasis on the application of cutting-edge research and how new discoveries have transformed our lives.
