10:00 – Welcome – Tim Hill, Head of Marketing and  Des Woods, Partner, Møller Institute.

10:10 – Leading Smart People – Mike Mister and Arun Singh will be exploring the peculiar situation where we lead people who are at least as smart as we are. And yes, they have a new book out soon on this topic! – details of that here

10:40 – Leading across the GenerationsKevin Doolan and Alexis Caught will be presenting new research and insight into the complex issue of inter-generational leadership and how older leaders cope with younger followers who hold different expectations and world views.

11:10 – Break

11:30 – Communicating effectively across cognitive difference – Carrie Fletcher, A Sloan Fellow based at London Business School and a Møller Institute Associate, will lead us through some of the tensions created between people and within teams based on differences in thinking and cognitive perspective.

12:00 – Resilience and resourcefulness – Rachel Thompson will share a new empirically grounded framework for remaining resourceful (which re-frames resilience) developed with high achievers in mind.

12:30 – High Performing Teams – Olympic Gold Medallist, Lawyer and Ex-GC  Jonny Searle, will take us through some of the current research and practical realities of being part of a winning team.

14:00 – What’s happening in the legal services market? – A 30 minute tour of trends and the performance of firms – Paul Browne.

14:30 – Why would I buy from you? – James Ratcliffe a senior in-house lawyer and Møller contributor will share with us the issues involved in working and relating to professional buyers in clients.

15:00 – Break

15:30 – Going Remote – engaging globally distributed teams in the innovation process – Adam Billing and Duncan Brannan from Treehouse Innovation, will guide us through the complexities of engaging and collaborating in virtual and remote working.
