Prior to joining the Møller Institute, Abi was a teacher providing education to pupils preparing for exams and transitioning to secondary school. Alongside extensive experience within family support projects offering parents access to educational support, her experience expands across the voluntary, public and corporate sectors.
Since joining the Møller Institute Abi has supported the Executive Education team in the design and delivery of customised programmes including the British Council, Future Leaders Connect. The programme offered leadership and communicative skills to enable 50 emerging policy leaders, from 11 different countries, to respond to global change through effective policy making. Through the programme participants developed their own leadership competency framework based on their own country contexts.
Other experience includes the design and delivery of the Institute’s flagship senior leadership development programme, the Explorer Mindset. The first cohort consisting of 18 participants across a variety of sectors including, healthcare, arerospace, technology, Ministry of Defence, finance and media.
Abi graduated with a first class Bachelor of Education with Qualified Teacher Status and was subsequently offered an academic scholarship to continue her professional development. She has since achieved a Masters in Education covering areas including Coaching and Mentoring, Managing Learning and Teaching and Teacher Wellbeing. Abi is now undertaking a doctorate in Education at University College London, Institute of Education.
