Cathy has over 20 years experience working globally in education, talent and executive development areas, spanning public, beyond profit and private sectors. She has particular interest and experience in the areas of helping leaders understand the importance of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Other development areas she has worked extensively on through different leadership interventions are motivation, careers management , innovation and coaching for performance and behavioural change.
Cathy worked for 12 years at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Cathy was MBA Careers Director for the Cambridge MBA Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School for five years prior to joining their Executive Education department. There her Director roles spanned managing current client relationships and developing new relationships as well as identifying opportunities for leadership and management development solutions and also directing corporate relations activities. Cathy had a specific focus on the Middle East and Europe. Her previous career has included roles in international business development and marketing in both public and private sectors including a large publishing house, an educational trust and an educational consultancy company, as well as the Open University.
Cathy joined Møller Executive Education in 2016 as Head of Executive Education. A linguist by educational background, Cathy has a Master of Arts in Italian Studies from the University of Edinburgh and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English to Adults from the Institute of Applied Linguistic Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Cathy also completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University in 2003 when she was awarded a distinction in Strategy. Cathy has undertaken business careers counselling courses, strategic selling courses and is a trained Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as well as Emotional Intelligence (EI) deliverer. She is currently studying for an executive coaching qualification and undertaking coaching practice.
