Covid-19: Møller Institute update

Website post

First and foremost, wherever you are we hope that you and your loved ones are in good health, safe and coping in these challenging times.

Because of Covid-19 the Møller Institute is temporarily closed in terms of hosting conferences and events but very much open, remotely, for new business and to support our clients.

Our event planning and executive education teams are working remotely to support our clients, suppliers and our Associates to collaborate, and wherever possible innovate in this time of uncertainty. This will ensure we are all prepared now, and for when we are able to meet again and work together in easier circumstances.

The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak has been significant for many of our clients, suppliers, Associates and our wider Møller Institute community. Organising and re-scheduling leadership development and training programmes seems a relatively insignificant activity in these unprecedented times, but we wanted to thank our clients for their support, understanding and co-operation in helping our team to manage this process and continue to  achieve the best outcome for you and programme participants.

The team at the Møller Institute has spent late February and early March working around the clock with clients to support their learning, development and planning teams to mitigate the effect of travel bans and maximise the impact of programmes they had planned.

We have worked closely with our clients to completely re-schedule programmes where necessary. With some clients we have been able to support by re-designing elements of their leadership programmes and training events to allow for real-time remote access for participants, and provide on-line learning materials.

Events are moving swiftly and we will keep in touch as appropriate.

During the period we are temporarily closed for conferencing and events, our on-site bedrooms are being used to provide much needed accommodation to key workers from Addenbrooke’s Hospital, to support their strategy in planning for the escalation of COVID-19. Addenbrooke’s Hospital has been a client of the Møller Institute for many years and their staff have always appreciated the hospitality and care that the Møller team have delivered, and we know that this will be even more valued by their doctors, nurses and other support staff over the coming weeks.

During these testing times it’s reassuring to hear about all of the hard work done being done by the Churchill College Community to both manage and inform about the Covid-19 pandemic.  Here’s a selection of news of what has been happening in the Churchill College Community over the last few days.

In the meantime, we wish you well and please don’t hesitate to contact any of our team at any time over the coming weeks.

With best wishes from Team Møller
