Background

Since graduating from Bretton Hall Drama School, Caroline has worked as a professional actor for more than 20 years, in theatres across the world. After working with a number of companies who take theatre out of a traditional setting and create interactive experiences between audience and performer, she became fascinated by the nuances of the relationship… how even a dialogue where one party is for the most part silent is, nonetheless, a dialogue.

Alongside her theatre work she established Snapshot Theatre, a theatre in education company which helps students, through interacting with the drama, to explore and discover how behaviour can change outcomes in potentially challenging situations… because our actions create reactions and, through self awareness, we can effect what that reaction is.

Caroline went on to work with student doctors and others in the public sector on presentation and communication skills and continues this work in the Clinical Communication School at Addenbrookes. She has worked extensively in the corporate sector with Menagerie Theatre Training and privately, coaching teams and individuals. Caroline takes the skills she has honed as a performer and the insight she has gained as a trainer and workshop facilitator to offer a creatively effective approach to teaching presentation skills with her “SELF” programme. Most recently she has contributed to programmes with  The British Council – Future Leaders, Sydney University, Karama – Women At The Top Table, dmg and China Construction Bank.
