Katharine Grisham
What is your previous job experience?
I’ve been part of the team at Møller team for just over 14 years. First as an event planner, then leading the team, and now as one of the Client Development managers responsible for seeking and developing new clients. I’ve always valued building and developing lasting client relationships, and delivering excellent customer service. This stemmed I think from some of my earlier Banking roles. I worked previously for Lloyds Banking Group doing many different things, and loved particularly my role as Client Relationship manager for International clients, also as Customer Service manager for Commercial Banking. I love finding out what’s important to people and organisations and then finding the perfect solutions for them!
What made you want to work at the Møller Institute?
After many years working for a Global Corporate, with little ability to make changes even at a local level, due to the corporate structure, I was keen for a change. Joining the Møller Institute felt instantly like home, more like a family. It was so refreshing and for me it clicked straight away. Everyone has a voice here and the chance to make positive changes. We’re all working towards delivering great things for our clients and our supportive team work keeps me here!
What appealed to you about this position and led you to join the team?
As Client Development manager, my role is to seek and develop new clients. Learning about organisations, and industries, along with the aims of their meetings and events is what I enjoy. I love sharing the value the Møller Institute can add to create the best showcase for them, helping each to achieve a positive ROI. Watching their teams and organisations grow as a result of working with us.
Are there any upcoming programmes or projects you’re excited about?
I’m always excited to on board a new client but equally it’s great when so many return. Around 80% of our clients repeat bookings with us, and many become advocates and spread the word too! For me my aim is to get more people through our doors. Then they can feel the Møller warmth too!
It’s great to have the Møller 360 online along with more videos highlighting our departments and personnel. This helps bring all to life.
How do you spend your free time?
In my free time I enjoy frequent trips to the coast. Nothing better to help relax and recharge. Socialising with friends, and good food. I love trying new restaurants and exploring the next tasting menu!
What do you hope you achieve during your time at the Møller Institute?
If I can help clients get to know us, and deliver great events here, as well as supporting and developing others within our teams I’ve done my job!
