Cambridge Business Coaching for Excellence Programme

Transforming business with a coaching culture

Over the course of this three-module programme, participants are equipped with the skills to coach professionally and ethically within an organisation, and to disseminate this cultural coaching style at managerial level through to teams.

At the core of this programme is cultivating a coaching ability with the objective of using coaching to raise the organisation’s performance by increasing productivity and shaping a more emotionally intelligent culture to promote long term, sustainable growth.

Hear from our Director of Coaching, Keith Nelson, talk about the Cambridge Business Coaching for Excellence Programme.

What to expect from the Cambridge Business Coaching for Excellence

The three modules are deliberately spaced several months apart. This gives delegates the opportunity to coach others in the workplace and reflect on their work in modules 2 and 3. The three modules are:

This module covers areas such as knowledge, skills and behaviours for effective coaching; and barriers to coaching and strategies to overcome these.

Who is the programme for?

This programme is designed for internal managers, Human Resources and Learning and Development professionals, as well as freelance/independent coaches looking to move into business coaching or anyone exploring this career option.

Future direction

Upon completing this programme with the knowledge and skills to coach within a business, internal coaches will then go on to coach colleagues across the business, or perhaps within line management responsibilities. Others may pursue their coaching journey beyond the programme.

Upon completing this programme, participants gain the knowledge and skills to coach confidently and effectively within a business, whether that be as a dedicated internal coach who coach colleagues across the business, or as a line manager with coaching responsibilities.

Others may pursue their coaching journey beyond the programme with the Cambridge Advanced Executive Coaching Programme.

The Møller Coaching Philosophy

This programme draws from various psychological approaches including from Rogers, Gestalt, systems psychodynamics and emotional intelligence. We believe in equipping coaches with knowledge of a range of methodologies so that they can draw on the most appropriate approach for each individual coaching situation.

Built with academic rigor, the Cambridge Business Coaching for Excellence Programme has been developed by a highly qualified coaching team, including Keith Nelson, Director of Coaching Programmes at Møller Institute.

Underpinning the coaching philosophy at Møller Institute is that:

  • Coaching is performance-focused at individual, team and organisation level
  • Coaching is person-centered, encouraging accountability and a learning culture
  • Coaching is appropriate and safe, providing a secure ‘holding’ and containing environment
