Tim is Chairman of Møller Institute having been a Director since 2014.

He was an undergraduate at Churchill College where he read Natural Sciences from 1969 to 1972.

After starting his career with Rugby Cement and Dunlop, Tim did a Master’s degree at the London Business School from 1977 to 1979. He then joined Polaroid (UK) and subsequently the frozen food retailer, Bejam, becoming Managing Director in 1987.

For 19 years from 1989, Tim was Chief Executive of Majestic Wine and led the business through it’s flotation on AIM in 1996 and fifteen years of increasing profits to his retirement in 2008. Since then Tim has held a number of NED roles including with Henderson Group, Dixons Carphone, Peabody Trust, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Woburn Enterprises. He is currently Chairman of Roy’s (Wroxham) the Norfolk based retailer.
